SUMMER CARE TIPS FOR YOU AND YOUR PETS

Sunshine and warm weather, characteristics of summer time that both pet and owner enjoy! Summer time also encourages outings by snakes, ticks and other things that can be dangerous for our furry housemates. By taking precautions, we can decrease the chances of injury or even death. Please visit the website below, provided by the HSUS, for tips on keeping our pets safe.

Why Should I Care About AAHA Certification?

The American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) is an international association well known among veterinarians and pet owners for its standards for hospitals and pet health care. Only 12% of veterinary hospitals choose to voluntarily participate in the rigorous AAHA hospital evaluation program. Consultants regularly visit these hospitals to ensure compliance with AAHA's standards for services and facilities. Accredited hospitals are strictly evaluated on 900 standards in the following areas: quality of care; diagnostics and pharmacy; management; medical records; and facility.

Accreditation helps veterinary hospitals stay on the leading edge of veterinary medicine and provide the high quality and range of services you and your pet deserve. Because of the AAHA Standards of Accreditation, you can be sure that your pet will receive top-quality care at Town-n-Country Animal Hospital.
